Cosmetics Regulatory Compliance Statement

REJNA Skin is committed to full compliance with UK cosmetics law. This statement outlines our regulatory framework for customers, press, and regulatory authorities.

UK Regulatory Framework

All REJNA products are cosmetic products as defined under Schedule 34 of the Product Safety and Metrology etc. (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019, which retains Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 as amended UK law. The competent authority for cosmetics in Great Britain is the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS).

Responsible Person

Under UK Cosmetics Regulation, every cosmetic product placed on the GB market must have a designated Responsible Person who is established in the United Kingdom. The Responsible Person for all REJNA products is:

Product Notification

All REJNA products have been notified with the Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) through the Submit Cosmetic Product Notifications (SCPN) portal prior to being placed on the market, in accordance with Article 13 of the UK Cosmetics Regulation. SCPN reference numbers are available on request to regulatory authorities.

Product Information File (PIF)

A Product Information File (PIF) is maintained for each REJNA product in accordance with Article 11 of the UK Cosmetics Regulation. Each PIF includes the product description and specification, Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documentation, safety assessment (CPSR) conducted by a qualified UK cosmetic safety assessor, method of manufacture and GMP compliance statement, evidence of the claimed effects of the product, and data on animal testing where applicable.

Cosmetic Product Safety Report (CPSR)

Every REJNA product has been assessed by a qualified cosmetic safety assessor prior to launch, in accordance with Article 10 of the UK Cosmetics Regulation. The CPSR confirms that each product is safe for use by consumers when used as intended and as directed on the label.

Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

All REJNA products are manufactured in the United Kingdom in facilities that comply with Good Manufacturing Practice for cosmetics. Manufacturing is carried out in the UK.

Labelling Compliance

All REJNA product labels comply with the labelling requirements of the UK Cosmetics Regulation, including: the name and address of the UK Responsible Person; the nominal content by weight or volume; the date of minimum durability (Period After Opening indicated by the open jar symbol); special precautions for use; the batch number; the function of the product; and the full list of ingredients (INCI nomenclature) in descending order of weight.

Cruelty-Free and Vegan Status

All REJNA products are formulated without animal-derived ingredients and are not tested on animals at any stage of development or manufacture, in compliance with the UK Cosmetics Regulation which prohibits the sale of cosmetics tested on animals. Our cruelty-free and vegan status applies to the finished products and, to the best of our knowledge and our suppliers’ assurances, to our raw ingredient supply chain.
